Indie Chicas FC, Inc.

The Indie Chicas FC, Inc. is an Idaho nonprofit corporation dedicated to empowering young women through competitive soccer. Our unique program is designed to fit the needs and long term development of young female soccer players. We strive to keep our girls in the game, to help them realize their potential and develop skills to be successful both on and off the field.

Our Mission

Is to provide intentional coaching designed to produce empowered, skilled, confident young women with a lifelong love of the game.

Our Board of Directors

  • The Honorable Jayme Sullivan

    DIRECTOR

    Jayme Sullivan is the City Attorney for the City of Boise. She is a retired magistrate judge for the Third Judicial District of Idaho. She is a former collegiate rower and water polo player.

  • Maria Sánchez

    DIRECTOR

    Maria Sánchez plays professional soccer for the San Diego Wave and is a member of the Mexican Women’s National Team. She played NCAA Div. 1 collegiate soccer at Idaho State University and Santa Clara University.

  • April Eastburn

    DIRECTOR

    April Eastburn has been a volunteer in the youth sports community for over ten years and a member of the Chicas family for over seven years. She is currently the Sr. Manager of Customer Experience at TeamSnap.

Our Executive Team

  • Allison Gibson, MA

    PRESIDENT AND DIRECTOR OF COACHING

    Allison Gibson brings thirty years of soccer experience to the club. She was the NCAA Division I head coach of Idaho State University for thirteen years, where she was their winningest head coach in history and three-time Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year. She also holds a USSF Level A license and a United Soccer Coaches’ Premier Diploma, their highest coaching accreditation. She played NCAA Division II college soccer at Sonoma State University, where she led them to two NCAA College Cup appearances, was twice NCAC college player of the year, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. She played professionally in Japan for the Fujita FC Mercury. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership.

  • Brent Williams, JD, MBA

    BUSINESS DIRECTOR

    Brent Williams brings over 25 years of business and legal expertise to the organization. He holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration.

  • Amelia Keily, M.Ed.

    DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

    Amelia Keily brings senior customer service and pedagogical design experience to the organization. She holds a Master of Education.

    CONCESSIONS MANAGER

    Amber Fitzsimmons is a long-time supporter of the Indie Chicas and founded our Volunteer Concessions Program.

    Argia Beristain is the cultural liaison for our international programs.

Our Coaching Team

  • Tristen Spooner, MAT

    ASST. DIRECTOR OF COACHING

    Prior to joining the Indie Chicas, Tristen Spooner was a NCAA Division I assistant coach at Idaho State University. She also played NCAA Division I soccer at Idaho State University, where she was team captain and most valuable player. She is a high school educator and head coach of the Eagles High School women’s varsity soccer team. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching.

  • Craig Naylor

    TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

    Craig Naylor is professional educator, and holds a USSF B License. He has directed and coached high school and club soccer for over 25 years, and coached for the USYS Olympic Development Program for over 15 years. He was the Head Coach of the Idaho Cutthroats professional women’s soccer team.

  • Tracy Nelson

    MASTER COACH

    Tracy Nelson was a NCAA Division I head coach at Northern Arizona University and assistant coach at the University of Mississippi. She also holds a USSF B License. She played NCAA Division I soccer at Washington State University.

  • Bill Gilbert

    MASTER COACH

    Bill Gilbert was a NCAA Division I coach at University of Idaho. He holds a USSF B License. He played NCAA Division I soccer.

  • Stephanie “Kramer” Beall, MS

    MASTER COACH

    Kramer Beall played professional soccer with the WPSL’s San Francisco Nighthawks. She was a NCAA Div I assistant coach at Idaho State University and San Diego Mesa College. She played collegiate soccer at University of San Fransisco. She holds a USSF C License and a Masters of Science in Leadership, Recreation and Physical Activity.

  • Melissa Warner, MA

    MASTER COACH

    Melissa Warner is Head Coach at Mesa College where she recently received “Coach of the Year” for the PCAC Conference. She played collegiate soccer at Occidental College where she was NSCAA All-Conference, NSCAA All-Far West, & All-League (SCIAC). She holds a USSF D License and a Master of Psychology.

    Aaron Freedman has coached for 23 years and holds a USSF D license.

  • Aiyana “AJ” Moore

    COACH

    Aiyana Moore played NCAA Div. II soccer at Belmont Abbey College and NCAA Div. III at SUNY Fredonia. She has coached for over 10 years and holds a USSF D license.

  • Bekah Brendis

    COACH

    Bekah had a distinguised high school career and plays for the Bosie Cutthroats.

  • Jen Keasel

    COACH

    Jen Keasal has over 12 years soccer coaching experience and holds a USSF D License.

  • Dr. Kelsey Turley

    COACH

    Kelsey Turley was an Academy Coach for Associazione Calcio Milan (AC Milan). She played NCAA Div. III soccer at the University of Rochester. She holds a USSF D License.

  • Jo Landeros

    COACH

    Jo Landeros had a distinguished high school career and played for the Boise Cutthroats.

  • Mitch Littleton, MPA

    GOALKEEPER COACH

    Mitch is an assistant coach at Northwest Nazarene University. He is a NFSHSA Certified Interscholastic Coach and holds a USSF E License. He was a collegiate player and has officiated at the collegiate and semi-professional levels. He is an Army Master Resilience Trainer and holds a Master in Public Administration.

    Nikki had a distinguished high school career and plays for the Boise Cutthroats.

  • Rachel Hathhorn

    Rachel Hathhorn had a distinguished high school career and played for the Boise Cutthroats.

  • Sarah Hopper

    COACH

    Sarah Hopper played NCAA Division 1 soccer at the University of Alabama - Birmingham and Division III soccer at California State - San Marcos, where she earned a golden boot.

  • Tom Park

    COACH

    Tom Parks played collegiate soccer, has a USSF E License, and has been coaching youth soccer for over ten years.

  • Zak Naylor

    COACH

    Zak Naylor played professional soccer for the NPSL Portland Spartans. He played collegiate soccer at Concordia University and Edmunds Community College, where he was NWAAC North MVP and named to the All-Decade Team. He currently plays for the Boise Cutthroats.
